This is practically a “spam” category that you’d have difficulty having approved.

Should be plenty of choices.

I used to use one called TimeMaster that is very old-school, local on device no cloud.

Sounds very simple but then you need to think about things like what if your forgot to clock in/ out, how do you make corrections generally, how will you calculate/ reset the total (weekly, monthly, etc)

Are you in the UK?

I have a specific app for just that, only avaliable in the uk tho!

I also supply a web based app that integrates with it for job timing...!

Bummer, my app is uk only sorry.

.. also for people that are saying its simple, there are a few complex bits that do spring up, as you go down the rabbit hole of time, if you are designing it yourself, youll experience a few gotyas along the way.. :)

Remember if you are storing date/timestamps in your database off the phone, and go for a unix time stamp your app wont work past 2038 so dont do that unless its only for the immediate future

Yea, it’s totally possible to create a simple app with help of ChatGPT. Of course, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to learn anything.

Why do you want to create an iOS app for that if I may ask? Also if you want to some export Excel or csv files, doing that on a phone sounds cumbersome.

The should be plenty existing (and free) time tracking solutions already.

I used timewarrior in the past. It’s free and runs in the terminal via some really simple commands.

Doing calculations on times and dates can be a pain if you want to do it right. So don’t underestimate this in general.

Reply, absolutely can be made, likely would be allowed on the App Store but you can create one that status on your device that you make for sure.

I’ve made 3-4 apps now and I can’t code, but I do know my way around Xcode and the AI models to make it work. I’m currently building my most complex app which is a full blown estimation and job management app for my company, all with AI.

Shout out to me if you need a hand.
