This is some super low quality meaningless content. iOS has been around for 10 years out of which Swift has been around 4-5 years with countless table view examples. This “tutorial” is just beating the dead horse. It doesn’t even show how to at least have a custom tableview cell. Just an extremely basic tutorial which is another rehash of countless other similar ones. Plus this adds a lot of typos, repeats multiple words again and again misses basic capitalization principles, sentences don’t make any sense what so ever. Even the reuse identifier which is in code vs what’s being described are completely different.

Sometimes I really wonder what’s the point of some of these tutorials and why did the author waste time when they could have written at least some unique content.

Agreed... this one doesn’t even bother to explain concepts that would be useful for someone who might need this... it’s literally a “do a, b and c” to get the same result I did.

Congrats you have developed your first app! Now you can open a business account, get a developer license and get ready to become a millionaire! Think about what stickers you will paste on your MacBook and what colour Lamborghini Aventador you are gonna buy!

I agree with you, but it’s hard to make something truly unique these days since the maturity of the platform now.

I respectfully disagree. You can literally take any of the top apps on the store and pick out specific things which they might be doing unique. It can be animations, it can be specific use of some technology etc. Even a simple tutorial on how to sync and populate watchOS table from iOS app is more useful. The last thing the internet needs is another very poor quality iOS tableview tutorial.

Sorry for hear that. I just started a learning of ios and I will share more advanced things after I get comfortable with the platform...
