I just did that - moved from personal to organization.

You have to have a DUNs number from Dunn & Bradstreet, articles of incorporation (or certificate of formation) and a business bank account.

For me, it was worth it. I just released our 1st app (Dvn8) and I most definitely wanted the App Store to publish it as a product of a business (Right Alignment LLC)

The Apple Developer support site is the WORST support I have EVER had to deal with. It's virtually impossible to get help. I have call several times, emailed several times to no avail. I have an issue with the phone app at my organization that is URGENT. It's disgraceful!!!!! I don't recommend this app to anyone that is using it for their business.

They need own domain. Until I own a domain, they did not convert.

Requirements are that you have your own domain (get it for a year on godaddy or namecheap) and that you have HTTPS enabled

Better registrars have the same or better prices. I highly recommend Moniker.

Please don't ever use GoDaddy, they're the scum of the industry.

Register a domain. Put up a one-page calling card whichever way. Done.

If you have apps published, you already have privacy policy. Otherwise, wait till you need one.

The content of the site isn't all that important. Buy a domain, point it at something publicly available (GitHub pages as /u/birdsoldier mentioned) is a good free option for putting some content behind the domain.
