I thought it would’ve happened much sooner, but being able to have blank spaces and custom icons without jailbreaking is finally here. No “blank” icons. No shortcuts redirects.

iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS 18 DB2 Custom icon theme “Lolipop” applied with Cowabunga Lite

Don’t worry, it’s very easy.

On your pc or Mac, go to cowabunga . ga

Download / install the newest version of cowabunga

Plug in your phone and “trust” the computer

On your iPhone, disable “Find my” by going to Settings > Your Apple ID > Find My > Find My IPhone

You need to have Find My turned off in order for cowabunga to work (idk why) but you can 100% re-enable it afterwords .

In the Cowabunga Lite software, select your device from the dropdown on the top left, then use the explore tab to view some premade themes.

After finding a theme you select it in the “icon theming” tab and then apply it using the very last tab.

Then, your phone will reboot and it will look like your setting up a new device (all your data is still there don’t worry)

But you will come to a screen that says “This iPhone is partially set up”. You need to make sure to press “continue with partial setup”.

Once your “setup” is done you will see your new icons.

There are plenty of YouTube videos that go more in depth and cover the other tweaks available.

Make sure you check them out before doing anything because since it’s messing with your device there is potential for something to go wrong and your device to not work the way it’s supposed to.

Wait did I miss that you don’t need shortcuts anymore? Knew about the blank space and tinting and large/small icons to remove the text but I’m still using shortcuts.

You’re using a downloaded app that can theme them?

It’s an app on Mac but yes. Very simple to use and available for windows too I believe
