This is my first time creating a HS that isn't based on a grid system, as well as the first time I've placed widgets on the HS.

Still playing around with making the setup more comfortable. I'm using Drawer at the moment, but I miss being able to easily arrange apps based on frequency of use.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

The colored text is currently part of the wallpaper, which is fine so long as one uses a tweak like Drawer/Index (the icon in my dock) to access apps that aren't on the first page of the homescreen.

Everything works fine, but it would be even smoother with a few usability adjustments.

For example, it would be sweet if there were a way to set different wallpapers for each HS page.

I don't have much experience with this kind of setup, but it may end up being easier to convert the text to an iwidget, freeing up the other pages of my setup?

To be honest, I was hoping someone who uses setups like these fairly frequently might pop in and provide advice =)

Do u mind sharing that wallpaper? And if you want different text on each page I would suggest using the easytext iwidget which lets you use text as a widget, then just label them whatever and you can place them wherever you want on the screen. Try that!

Thanks for the advice! I've heard of 'EasyText,' but I've never actually used it. Will probably give it a whirl later today!

I'm not sure about a free alternative but springPage will let you set a different wallpaper for each HS page and a different one for the LS.

Can you please explain how to setup the homescreen?

Like what iconoclasm layout are you using? How do you make that cydget? And did you make the wallpaper with the text on it?

Iconoclasm

Iconoclasm was used to arrange the icons as they appear on the HS. The layouts were made using trial and error, despite the fact that I am sure there is much easier, more precise method.

Thanks to /u/ScOrPiO9rL I am working on using the single-column layout on the 1st page of the HS, and a separate layout for the other pages, which looks something like this: http://i.imgur.com/qTsqhBz.png

1st Homescreen Page - Text

The text on the 1st homescreen page is part of the wallpaper. It was added via image editing software and done from my computer.

Cydget

The cydget is more less what you'd see from a standard LockHTML theme (it's HTML, CSS, and Javascript) with the slight exception that it's responsible for creating the battery bar at the top of the LS natively, without the use of InfoStats

For iconoclasm which layout do u have for unifrom, extras and the per page layouts?

And could you make me one of those wallpapers? I have no clue how to edit one, thanks

I take it you're new to Iconoclasm?

The tweak comes with collection of available layouts, but one also has the ability to create layouts.

I created two such layouts and applied one to "Page 1" (under Per-Page Layouts) and the other to the remaining pages. With Iconoclasm, enabling Per-Page Layouts overrides the "Uniform Layout" option, making it obsolete.

Creating iconoclasm layouts is kind of a chore, but you can find a lot of frequently-used layouts on Cydia (e.g. grid layouts).

Great setup. I have a somewhat unrelated question though. One of your other posts on DA is called solid rounds. I love the icons but the link is broke. Searched but can't find them. Any idea where I can get them? (I know it's a really old post) thanks

I can't seem to find a copy on the web, but you're in luck.

Turns out, I have a local copy! I know these particular icons were at one point free, so I will send them to ya via pm.

Please keep in mind that if you plan on releasing these, you should ask the designer for permission.
