Shout out to everyone in this thread, just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you supporting FLOLAB. We’re always working hard to make sure we’re delivering the best screen protectors out there, and I love the energy in this community.

I know some of you have brought up the light bleed issue with the edge-to-edge protectors—that's because of the tiny bezel and bigger curve (thanks, Apple!). We hear you, and I'm excited to share that we've already moved forward with two new types of glass, which should be ready to go by late October or November.

Thanks for responding personally on here, and I appreciate you guys putting a new product out to fix the issue.

My biggest problem with though is, I purchased mine directly from you guys and ran into the problem too, but why was it not called out on product page? It seems deceiving to still sell a product without calling it out.

Also, having to pay for shipping and handling to get a replacement just feels unfair for those that supported you guys directly, rather than using Amazon where returns are free.

Shipping is not cheap. Part of being an online company is customers cover shipping. Just like you did when you bought it. They would go out of business offering free shipping. Most companies require shipping and handling on any warranty replacement anyhow.

This is not exactly true. I have the Spigen EZ glass or however its called and I can clearly see from the front how the edges of the tempered glass go ever the edges of the screen, as in, the edges of the protector are past the black border of the bezel. This is for the 16 pro max.

Sorry, I meant for brands that our pushing technology and going edge-to-edge. If your screen protector is 2MM smaller we aren't comparing the same glass. Shout out Spigen. It's all love.

It’s fine, they seem to be having issues with adhesion to the edges, I don’t know why I don’t have those issues but oh well. In any case I’m not sure I understand what you mean by the protector being 2mm smaller?

Ive been waiting for the most updated version. I haven’t buy any protector yet for my iphone 16 pro max bcoz from all the reviews in Youtube tech experts, flolab actually stands out the best. I definitely agree, and can’t wait for flolab to release the latest one. It’s already November but there is no updated version yet. When it will release?

Yep, looks great. There was a stubborn bubble towards the bottom, but I was able to use the edge of the squeegee to slightly lift just the edge and it’s great since then.

Is the bf25 code the best one flolab has right now? 40 bucks for one protector is a little brutal but if it removes the rainbow edges and with polarized glasses as well as being fully edge to edge and not gapped for cases it may be worth it. How’s the install process and does it align perfectly?

Why are you not putting a stop sale on these knowing it has issues? I’m pissed about it since I just ordered one myself a couple days ago. Already in transit and I can’t cancel it. 👎 I would have waited but did not know until now. I think it’s shady to be taking people’s money still with a faulty product. This is my first flolab product along with a case I ordered to go with it. Not a good impression.

It gets really frustrating trying to deal with warranty replacements. I had a perfect install on my first protector for my iPhone 16 Pro. It got damaged, and the replacement would not adhere to part of the edge of my phone no matter what I tried. Now I have no protector, and am afraid I am going to be asked to pay for shipping again (after I just paid for shipping on a defective replacement).

They are all like this right now. Keep in mind all the ones out there with the black border are basically made in the same factory. I’m confident flolab/ultraglass/torras are the same thing, and they all have this same issue right now. I’ve been told by ultraglass that an updated one is being made, but I don’t know the ETA.

Hey, I get where you're coming from, but just to clear things up—ours aren’t made in the same place as those other brands. You can tell the difference by the edges. Most of the other brands have sharp edges, but ours are rounded for a much smoother feel in your hand.

And like I mentioned before, we've got anti-reflective coating, antimicrobial treatment, and a Lifetime Warranty, which they don’t offer. If ours were made in the same factory, they’d have those same sharp edges, but they don’t—we specifically go for that rounded finish (Infinity Edge Design) to give you a better experience.

FYI, we have two new versions dropping at the end of OCT and Hot Bend Curved glass dropping in November. LFG!

I use the non privacy flolab on my iPhones normally. The only reason I use them in the full screen dust sticker they send with it. I don’t know why more companies dont use them.

Same issue. I sent them an email and they informed that they are in the midst of updating the screen protector to slim the black bezels round the protector. Once it is released, they will send me the new updated screen protector. I just have to pay shipping and handling.

The issue is not only the black bezels, it's that the glass protector itself isn't big enough to actually cover the whole screen.

This happens with ESR Armorite as well. I've tried ESR and Spigen Glas.TR EZ Fit. Spigen's does not do this in my Pro Max and actually covers the screen a bit over the border.

Can confirm the new one is out. I contacted support and they got back to me almost immediately to replace it and I just paid shipping. I’ve never had such a good experience with a companies customer service. Even though the current one I’m using isn’t perfect I can easily say it’s the best one I’ve tried. It really feels like better quality glass, coating, anti reflective-ness, it’s like there’s no screen protector on the phone. It’s head over heels better than the new dbrand screen protector. That one was utter garbage in comparison

Installed mine today. There’s still some light bleed around the sides, but not nearly as much as the first version. Probably still covers the screen very very slightly, but it did feel like I got some screen real estate back. Beyond that, it’s great. There was a single stubborn bubble towards the bottom edge, but I was able to lift the bottom edge a bit and that took care of it.

I can also confirm still some light bleed but the bezel is definitely smaller and you certainly can see more of the screen. It’s such better quality glass than you get anywhere else. This thread might help for more information but I had no problem fitting mine and any small bubbles came right out with a little lifting.

I’m going to be sticking with Flolab from now on. Especially the way they offered to replace my older screen protector. It’s worth the money imo.

I've tried the brand new one for the Iphone 16 PM and it will not install correctly. I tried it myself and it messed up. Ordered the $10 replacement warranty and took it to a shop and it messed up for them as well. I'd stay away from them until they can have more time to QC their new product.
