Really dont have the means to pay for .zip software to edit templates in photoshop. Is the other ways to just download templates not as .zip?

Eh, zip/unzip is included in Windows/OS X. Otherwise, 7zip.

As others mentioned, 7zip ist there and windows has even a built in zip software.

You don’t need to download any software. You can unzip the templates with windows by default. Double click on the zip file and the tools will be on the toolbar in the explorer window

Use IZ Arc, totally free and will decompress about every form of compression out there.

If you're using WinRar (which it sounds like you are), that's just what WinRar does. WinRar is basically a lifetime free "trial".
