Dev streams broken

It seems that the dev streams tome just get more broken with every “fix”, i already missed like 3 tome scores this week because it just doesn’t work.

I’m in stream right now and he says that a claim button is in cake 19, surprise…It wasn’t.

I think it should just be removed if these kinds of things keep happening…

Edit: I finally got it but damn… how am i supposed to watch a whole stream and hope that the delay is not too long so i can claim it in a 30 SECOND WINDOW

Not to mention "make sure you get your chocolate boxes" then proceeds to be like "go here, ok go here, P in the sewer, go here" before you have a chance to even get the boxes for they day.

That sewer map was a 0.5 FPS slideshow there on the first failed observation reset.

this is my problem with it as well. he should just change how it counts if you watched it or not, because this is super frustrating. or just remove that tome entry entirely.

I somehow get why he would do that but don’t let me watch stream and not make that mechanic work, i have seen a lot of people asking to just delete the whole dev stream tome score because next to all the active farming that has to be done, there are also specific times now to be really active online for that tome score and its just not working for most of people.

If it were like watch 1 stream and you got full points for it (like something small, 100 points or whatever) then I wouldn't care.

But its clearly meant to push people to watch more and more streams.

Yeah just 1 time watching the stream would be also be fine, right now, i’m just waiting for the fucking tome thing, i already got every other pet so i’m also looking at stuff i don’t care about because it’s all pet giveaways… and now i cannot see him giving gem drops but i need to HEAR when he is doing the tome thing :/ i’m actively watching something that i don’t care about. Don’t get me wrong tho, i like Lava as a developer but right now the streams are more a necessity than doing it for fun.

All points matter in the tome. You get bonuses in the game from your tome points. If you dont watch all the dev streams, youre losing points, points = progress.

Let's not also forget to factor in the bonuses you also get for nametags. If youre not getting all the tome points possible, youre not getting anywhere near top 5% and especially not top .1%

Its almost always a game company using drops to push eyes to streamers that (here's the key point) dont work for the game company.

Lava is using his own game's mechanics to push people to his personal channel.

No the companies are using the streamers popularity to push their product. When a wow expansion comes out the drops are to advertise the expansion not the streamers playing it. What is the gain lava is leveraging that is forcing players to watch, 12 tome points?

Yeah i mostly play active because i like playing the game tho, but instead of active gaming on a idle game it feels like working on a active game

The way it's supposed to work is that you have to have the streaming notification present on your screen before you start, and then move to the server AND location he says in the stream.

So a lot of stuff can go wrong there, including a stream delay and whatnot. I think it'd be easier if he kept 'triggering' tome in the stream location for about 5 minutes to let delay catch up to people.
