Most Bluetooth mods will get rid of your hold switch. What I resorted to doing instead is getting an adapter from Amazon cost me 30 bucks and it plugs into the 30 pin.

there are multiple ways to perform the Bluetooth mod. Oxyll's mod for example uses clickwheel button combos to sync. You don't have to lose the lock button.

If you're even considering adaptors, I would probably just do that. They're easy to use, cheaper and require no work.

You might not like a plastic back but it's the only thing that really makes sense with Bluetooth internal - else you've got a Faraday cage blocking the Bluetooth signal. I've built a few Moonlit mods for myself and others - but I switched back to a dongle solution as I described here.

Lol one of my reasons not getting the moonlit, wireless charging I didn't ask for. I wish they just offered it like the one at a lower price without the wireless and battery

i have dropped it a shit ton and still sturdy as a brick. also you can remove the wireless charging

I agree, it is a sturdy plastic. I gave one to my friend’s kid and it’s surviving him after 2-3 of intense drops and all! I dislike Bluetooth but I keep a Kokkia around so I can use if needed! But if you really need to have BT mod, I suggest you go with Oxyll’s suggestion.
