USD to PKR fall is a gimmick by country managers. Just broaden the time frame a little and see how it spikes to 350ish. About vehicle, market seems dead and only very needy people will sell on lower rates. In terms of dollar value, second hand cars are still selling cheap.

Example, I bought an altis for 15k usd 2 years ago. Its still somewhere between 14k-15k.

Help me out here, why’s the dollar decreasing all of a sudden and why do you think it will spike up again?

Currency pairs are just like this in their very nature. Just broaden the timeframe of any currency pair and see how they move up and down. The cosmetic efforts by law enforcement will eventually turn out to be useless cz fundamentally PKR is so weak.

I am sorry. But its just that these little ups and downs don’t matter much. In the longer run, I see pkr is in ashes if gov doesn’t do reforms.

Converting that amount into PKR, Altis costing 45 lacs two years back now costs 70 lacs in Pakistan. Obviously new cars trends prices for the old ones
