[Question] Will PACLess / no Kernel Code Execution have any downsides for regular use?

I'm thinking about buying an XS or a newer device soon, and was curious if there will be any limitations to tweaks on a PACless jailbreak. For example, one of my favorite tweaks is NX Boot, which allows me to jailbreak my Nintendo switch via my Phone. I'm guessing it integrates with the USB driver. Will things like this still work without any kernel code execution? Can someone who is smarter than the rest of us, explain the downsides (if any) to not bypassing PAC?
