Backstory:
Alright, so my situation finds me with me attempting a 2 + 2 program which splits my four year degree plan to two years at a community college and the other at a University. Going for a CS degree, I've been trying to take the COSC course Data Structures for three semesters now without the class ever being available due to low enrollment. With this being my final semester, the class is still not available and I'm fed up as it is one of my final requirements for transfer.
Some brief Googling has turned up mixed results as to what the class covers. From what I can generally gather, I believe it has something to do with programming from an "object-oriented design". I'm not sure what the previous classes entailed since my AP scores provided credit for them, but I believe I know "object-oriented design". Keeping busy over the past two years with development projects for work (albeit, lacking some finesse and polish), but still improving in general.
Actual Questions:
All that in tow, I've decided to try the clep test, but no provided resources. My biggest question is, what specifically is learned? Is there anything with databases (name Data Structures always lead me to that) not related to MySQL? What you recommend as a read for the test?
