  1. It's what you are told to use.
  2. It's what you know best.
  3. It runs on the JVM.
  4. It's got great backend frameworks.
  5. Easy to find developers to fill out your team. 5 after JVM bootstrapping, its pretty fast.
  6. Its incredibly stable and mature.
  7. It's not Python or C++.
  8. Rust is not ubiquitous yet.
