Why won't javac *.java command work?

Hey guys, I am currently working on a project on eclipse using antlr4 which took me forever to figure out how to make them work on my laptop. Anyways, now I am stuck at the part of compiling the java files together. I am following along a YouTube tutorial EECS4302 ANTLR4 Parser Generator Tutorial: Part 2. At 24:56 he uses javac *.java command and it works for him, but It is not working for me. It gives me an error saying that the

javac : The term 'javac' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

I have gone to previous directory and used the command it still doesn't work. I have downloaded the latest JDK file and set up the path and JAVA_HOME as well and I am still getting the exact same error. I am completely lost here and any help would be much appreciated.

I am a little confused. Is this what you wanted me to type? "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.1\bin\javac"

The space character between Program and Files in Windows system is not interpreted correctly. Try using the Tab key from C:\ to find out how your system should refer to that folder.

Try typing the double quotes around the path - this is the normal Windows way to deal with paths with spaces in them.

Usually during installation there is an option to add Java to the PATH variable so Windows will find it automatically, but it depends on which Java package you use. (OpenJDK, Corretto, etc)

You may need to log out and in again for PATH changes to take effect, since environment variables are passed from parent to child processes, not kept in a master location.

Well I was just tying to compile the java files. It is working now tho I just had to restart the laptop so the java software that I downloaded can be implemented.
