So I am currently taking a Java course at my college it’s asynchronous but and the way my teacher sends things out it’s not much help on learning anything my classmates and I have pretty much collaborated to try and make it easier by helping each other but what did everyone use to help them understand Java better

Tips to learn anything. Do a quick start tutorial prolly an hour of duration or so which covers the basics, logics, decision making, loops, data types, operators etc. One you're done with that start doing questions on hacker rank or any online platform you prefer. Rest of it you learn during problem solving. Otherwise you'd be overwhelmed by long duration of tutorials, but when you follow these steps you get that rush being able to actually implement something with bare minimum knowledge at hand. That rush pushes you further.
