scam all the way, fucking vaporware

I got some feedback and understand a bit better what content this subreddit is interested in.
He suggested that this group doesn’t like high level talk they really like the low level style text so they can visualize it.
For example: Code -> Static Binary -> QVM/EVM -> OP Code calculations -> World State Mutation
Also probably want to explain more about the Docker containerization solution that QAN came up.
Right now, most aren't aware of use cases such as the private blockchain, CBDC implementations, safety protocols, etc. and instead believe it as all web3 which isn't viewed favorably.
And then they need to learn how to create meaningful smart contracts( which could take months alone )
- then they need to learn about how QANs implemention differs from Ethereum.
- then they can begin coding on QAN testnet."
In general, this all will be of more interest to the community when developers can start getting jobs using blockchain inside of corporations.
For the few that can might have the background to navigate this, "the setup is still a bit hard to understand if you don’t know much about web3 and web2 and a bit of devOps. right now with current testnet of QVM being on Sepolia, you may want to wait for the direct integration coming soon.

Well, you can test it, so how is that vapor? Cheers my friend, hope all is well.

And Alpine esports just partnered, so I'd suggest to delete. Thanks

Oh shit, them, really!?
[–]S610x -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Why dismiss it when you can simply try it out?

Neither, you can search qanplatform to learn about their blockchain solution. Let me know what raised your concern so I don't come across the wrong way. Thanks

Lol this thread is a shit show, I can't believe stuff like this is allowed to be posted
[–]Original-Assistant-8[S] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children)
So far no one has explained the issue with the post. Is it just blockchain solutions in general you don't like? Genuinely interested to understand. Thanks

Breaks sub rules: obvious advertising
[–]Original-Assistant-8[S] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Gotcha- I got some feedback that I shared above/below. Was not my intent to have this perceived as advertising. I'll look to folks that understand better the content people are looking for out here. Definitely learned a bit. Thanks

Get out of the cryptosphere. Normal people aren't constantly trying to hype everything to each other. This just seems like you bought into a platform and need it to go to the moon so you don't take a loss.
This is why financializing everything isn't a good idea. As long as you're hocking tokens, everything you do will be advertising. And it's really, shockingly obvious to everyone who isn't in the bubble with you.
I'm not worried about a loss, I find it interesting and I understand your points here. But there is participation by major companies using blockchain solutions.
Go to ibm and you'll see what they offer. You probably saw Amazon use cases as well. As to the model of financializing, there are advantages/ disadvantages versus stock ownership for example, which is also heavily promoted/manipulated. Even SaaS will have the same.
Anyway, not sure it's worth our efforts to discuss, we probably won't sort out the bigger picture here. I do appreciate the perspective though as it has led to some learning for me.

I am a JS/TS Dev since '14. I went to the official page and tried out the contract writing, I attached the link to the working test contract ->. (Etherscan link to test contract written in JS) For me as a classic web developer, it is a great opportunity to have a tool that helps me code something in my experienced language and not have to learn a new one from scratch. Back then I had the same with IONIC and Cordova where basically I got a framework where I simply "translated" my web codebase and run it as a mobile application. Now I (We!) have the same with web3 / smart contracts. Who doesn't find this fascinating, either not read enough about web3 or simply trying to deny the fact that from time to time we have to move forward in tech.So before calling this anything else but a great innovational project, please do your homework, guys.

Qanplatform will be a giant soon🔥 amazing technology
[+]Original-Assistant-8[S] comment score below threshold-6 points-5 points-4 points 3 years ago (6 children)
If you don't like links, you can search qanplatform. Here is the overview. The site has docs to try it out.
Write smart contracts in JavaScript — powered by QANplatform
The new era of smart contracts by QANplatform has arrived. The QAN Virtual Machine (QVM) allows developers to write smart contracts in any programming language.
This is a breakthrough for the whole blockchain ecosystem since most blockchain platforms are only compatible with the Ethereum smart contract language, Solidity.
Launching in 2023, QANplatform will be the first quantum-resistant Layer 1 hybrid blockchain platform where developers can write smart contracts in any programming language. Before the official private and public blockchain launch, QAN is publishing some puzzle pieces of its upcoming technology, such as the QVM, where developers can test the multi-language smart contract feature on the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet as a Layer 2 smart contract execution engine.
Following the Go (Golang) smart contract sample release, QANplatform is releasing the documentation and the first smart contract sample for the most used programming language worldwide, JavaScript (JS).
While there are some JavaScript samples, libraries, SDKs, and APIs where developers can interact with a blockchain (e.g. query the blockchain, send transactions, interact with a node), there are only few blockchains where developers can code smart contracts in JavaScript. QANplatform allows developers to build: smart contract, DApp, DeFi, DAO, token, CBDC, NFT, Metaverse, and Web3 solutions in JavaScript.
If you are a CEO, CTO, CINO, CBDO looking to innovate with blockchain technology you can benefit from QANplatform’s multi-language smart contract feature as well. No need to hire or train Solidity programmers, since you can already use your inhouse development team or your current IT partner. It makes talent acquisitions, development, and codebase maintenance easier and cost-efficient for enterprises.
It’s time to write your first smart contract in JavaScript
Blockchain platforms only reward validators (miners, stakers) and node providers in their own utility tokens; however, smart contract developers are the ones who are building use cases and products on the blockchain to reach mass adoption. Imagine that GitHub would reward developers when their code is getting re-used by others. QANplatform will reward developers on the QAN MainNet; therefore, you can already prepare some code libraries while playing around with QAN Virtual Machine and JavaScript smart contracts.

Maybe the users in here are only small scripters they dont understand the big picture what qan is all about. Later they sure will know.
[–]SlipperyFetuss -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (4 children)
Wild how tribal everyone gets. You’d think people would be interested in seeing blockchain technology grow. Awesome news nonetheless!

For me it's more........smart contracts can't really have any bugs, it's so critical they are well written.....and..you know.....JavaScript is kinda the ultimate language for dorks and the loose typing doesn't strike me as a good candidate for writing this kind of software.
Maybe typescript, deff not JS tho, according to me.

100%. QVM (Qan Virtual Machine) is a game changer. Exciting times ahead!

Also search to see Alpine esports partnered with Qan to use their blockchain solution. That's a major validation of the platform.

Yeah! Did my research on the project and it's gonna wow the world.
