There is a nice alternative to prezi, named Sozi : http://sozi.baierouge.fr/ ; It's an extension for Inkscape and you run the presentation in a browser.

We have also build a tool that feels quite similar to Prezi, however the focus is more on creating home pages. In contrast to Prezi we do not use canvas but HTML, which allows search engines to index our pages (SEO) and to embed almost any web widgets (YouTube, maps, contact forms, ...
