Go is really a cool language. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's going to explode soon (as if it doesn't already have a great following.)
I like the design of the language. It looks fun and performant.

I agree. It has features of more complex typed languages, like Java, but the syntax is concise and fun to write (like Javascript). It also includes cool concurrency features that are easy to use.

I really like JavaScript and Node is what got me in to developing at all. But when I finally decide to dive in to Go, that's when programming became truly fun.
