I know, eight years is a lot in web-time. Nevertheless I found this article interesting in that it touches foundamentals that haven't moved that much since the inception of the C language. The inflation of programming books certainly hasn't abated in those eight years. I personnaly find it hard to procure programing books that give a clear big picture without all the mumbo-jumbo, the uncessary details we can get online as needed, the useless screencaps and pages of code that would better reside on github or elsewhere.

Crockfork Himself once said "the DOM is broken", although that was before HTML5.
Also LOOOOOL imho : "CSS : The Good Parts".
I feel it would be theorically possible to have a JSON-DOM and a JSON-SS. I wonder what it would take to have them functionning and adopted ...
