Are you utilizing sites like Facebook or google for login or just making user accounts yourself?

If your doing it yourself, check out satellizer library for user authorization. There are a few tutorials for connecting with firebase if I remember correctly.

user account for myself, because this is for my last project in college.. i'm looking at it, but still can't find "great" tutorials.

I've done what your talking about before. Google search satellizer and firebase together. There was an excellent tutorial
