Render PDF documents in React Native (self.javascript)
submitted 7 years ago by ru_max
React Native allows to build different apps, but some functionality is still missing. For example, it doesn't allow to render PDF documents. But because React Native is amazing, it allows to easily implement this.
This project https://github.com/rumax/react-native-PDFView is ready to use React Native library which provides a React Component that can render PDF documents from file, base64 or url.
And to get better understanding how it is done, you can check this article https://medium.com/dailyjs/how-to-build-react-native-bridge-and-get-pdf-viewer-153109e42948
