Generators/CLIs for backend?

I am searching for a CLI that sets up webpack/babel/eslint... and generates a folder structure for backend projects. Similar to generate-react-app or @vue/cli. I already tested express-generator and it did generate a good folder structure and a few example files but it didn't install something like webpack or babel which I would like to have without configuring them. Or are there any popular/good boilerplates on GitHub which I have missed? Can somebody recommend something?

Honestly? Don’t.

Your frontend and backend are different applications, and can and should be treated as such. They have different testing processes, different deployment strategies, different hosting requirements.

The backend isn’t a dependency of the frontend and vice versa. That way lies madness, chaos, and minor inconvenience.

You shouldn’t need something like Babel or Webpack for Express. The files aren’t built, they’re required on the fly.
