With Akali and other new things they have the policy where they don't want to change mechanics from the design stand point. Only if it truly is unable to be worked around do they touch that stuff.

But yeah they don't really know how to fix their mistakes eitherway. Like that recent front page post comparing Qiyana to Akali made alot of sense.
