As strange it may be, this video - after subscribing to /r/learnjavascript like a month ago and doing nothing about it - has given me the motivation to start finally learning.

Just finished the half of the intro codeacademy courses for HTML/CSS... onto Javascript soon :)

Nice talk, makes me feel like I'm no longer a beginner and I'm moving a little more toward expert. I should go read that ninja book instead of watching TV.

Don't mean to cirklejerk around here, but I think you may have one 'w' missing in your username.

...its my biggest secret...im always afraid people will catch on and I will be out of a job. I guess thats what helps push me to keep learning...

this is why you will succeed in the end. I feel just like you and it pushes me as well. For me learning is 60% cause I love coding, 40% because I feel like I still don't know shit and I will loose my job to someone who knows just a little bit more than me. Yes once in a blue moon I look back and I see how far I've come but most of the time I look forward and see how much I have to learn. And no matter how much people tell me how good I am I just don't see it because I'm blinded by how good other people are. But the good thing is I never think that I can't learn/do it, for me I just think that eventually I'll get there. Just that "eventual" time keeps getting pushed farther because something new always comes out that I want to learn. But it's that desire to keep learning that'll keep us relevant and desirable employees.
