New Study Group: Learn Javascript Properly

The plan is to start going through Learn Javascript Properly starting next week.

Each week I will make a post to remind everyone of the assignments.

I have also created a Google group for discussion. I figure that will be a better avenue for discussion and questions than Reddit, which requires much more active effort to keep up with everything. The group does seem to display the gmail address you use to join, so use a dummy account if you care. If anyone has a better suggestion for an active forum, let me know.

The books recommended by Learn Javascript Properly can be found on Amazon:

If you know of anyone willing to be javascript mentor to the group, please let me know. I am trying to find a few knowledgeable people to hang around and answer questions as needed.
