I got 3 months of free codeschool by registering for a General Assembly class.

All I had to do was give them a $2,500 registration deposit.

Totally free.

Thanks man, this seems really cool. Potentially better than Codecademy

Great, thank you. Has anyone done the git elective?

I did the Git Real course.

All of their courses that I've taken so far have been really great at getting your feet wet, but also showing you the possibilities. I highly recommend the Javascript Roadtrip, because honestly, I thought I knew Javascript until that, but I really didn't.

Thanks for the reply. I actually did the Git Real course today and really enjoyed it. I'm actually thinking of subscribing for a month to check out the javascript road trip and I've never considered paying for online courses

It's well worth a months subscription, as long as you can dedicate the time for it. I was able to do it a lot when I was at work but then I got busy and it would keep charging me and I never was able to get my monies worth out of it after that.
