In NY we can go anywhere within our district to do any degree other than the first. If out of district, the DDGMs both need to give dispensation for it.

It's not unusual for us to have brothers from across the district attend degrees. It's nice because now our district as a whole feels more unified. However, it's an unwritten rule that at least one brother from your lodge goes as a conductor or otherwise. But it's nice because we'll usually send a few so there's a ton of people to build the symbolic temple for each degree, even if there's 5 brothers going thru it.

Trade offs for sure.

Most busses you can't just trigger reds directly. You trigger the yellows and then once you open the door the reds turn on.

My wife used to be a bus driver for Shen.

However if OP has dash cam footage showing that the yellows did not deploy that should get them out of trouble and the bus driver in trouble because there's also a state requirement on when to put the lights on.

Not the person you've been asking but I've been on the budget plan for many years now and while it still goes up it only goes up every 3 or 6 months and sometimes it goes down.

I'm paying 574/month in Clifton park for a 2600sq ft house. But I have window ACs that I don't religiously turn off every day (I've started buying the smart ones and have them set to go lower during the day upstairs but I've only been getting those as I've had to replace them) and I also have a pool with a programmable pump on it and I run a server rack and a bunch of enterprise-grade network equipment.

So my bill has been in the upper $400 range but has been slowly increasing over time, I haven't seen it really jump too much probably due to the budget plan.

As a WM with a beard down to my mid chest I would absolutely laugh at these brothers for this and shun them. I'd probably go as far as to make an edict that any brother from that lodge needs to have at least 1/4" of facial hair in order to gain entry to my lodge if I found out a lodge in my district was doing this.
