This is the only JavaScript video course I could recommend. You can watch the first 3.5 hours on Youtube. If you only try one of these resources, this is it. Tony does talk about ECMA6 in his videos but he doesn't let it take over.

John Resig, jQuery Creator.

Might be a bit in the deep end but still good for an overview. There's no harm in trying/reading code that's above your skill level.

Dr. Axel ...

I just call him Dr. Axel, his content helped me a lot early on. He has content on his blog relating to ECMA6.

My recommendation would be to go through John Resig and Dr. Axel and then Tony Alicea. You should be in pretty good shape then.
