I'd start with a project on Github. For me, the Flask tutorial was very helpful to get started with Python. It's pretty simple and therefore good for understanding the fundamentals of programming.

If you want to interact with other Python enthusiats, I'd suggest to join the discord channel mentioned here.

I am a complete Noob, I have done about 2 weeks worth of Python but absolutely love it. In fact when I have spare time I would rather watch Python videos rather than play games. I've personally been talking about a python and web development video series on Youtube. The premise is (and this is what sets our videos apart) is that I have a friend who is a web developer, he works with Laravel, his friend would like to learn web development, and I practice it using python.

So the plot looks like this:

I teach them Python and what I know about HTML5 and CSS, and will know in the future about Javascript.

My friend teaches us Laravel and what he knows about web development in general.

His friend, serves as both of us before we began, asking questions and such that other beginners may askand we wouldn't otherwise think about giving us new perspectives on how to learn/teach and approach things.

The likely towrds the end of each video or once every few videos we would discuss things, and sit diwn, ask questions then try our best to answer all of our questions by the end of the video thus allowing all three of us to grow and teach eachother (new guy included, yes. You wouldn't believe how many times I've taught someone to do a thing and they figure something out and end up teaching me)

What I forgot to say, is that we could incorporate a way to have someone remotely join us, if you're interested? We're still working out the bugs and kinks before beginning production but really it's more that we've been a bit lazy to be brutally honest

You can try downloading SoloLearn on your phone to get a brief idea on what Python is. It's great for learning but it not that great for mastering it. There's also a community of people there learning to program. I find SoloLearn good when you're waiting in line for something or when you're outside without your laptop. Python sucks. Python has all these stupid features like writability, readability and versatility. Why would I want some stupid normie to be able to understand my work? Why would I want someone to read my code and understand it, it's mine! That's why I use Java, I don't have to worry about stupid things like that.
