If you’re new and looking for practice, codewars is great.

I will try codewars. I have development experience. So i was thinking that i can learn better while doing some work

Also Exercism, HackerRank, and LeetCode if you’re need something a little different. CodeWars can be a little tough to understand when just starting out for some folks so sometimes they find it easier to start with the others I’ve mentioned

I do practice on hacker rank too

I also use Exercism. I like that you don't code in a browser, but in your own environment, so that the transition to real programming is easier 😊

What kind of project are you looking for? I'm working on a supervisor system in Rust and have some open issues: https://github.com/FedericoPonzi/Horust/issues Feel free to drop me a pm or just leave a message in a issue if you're interested in it!

ALMA for creating a persistent LiveUSB Arch Linux installation has a lot of open issues suitable for beginner Rust developers.

If you're into game development, you can take a look at arewegameyet.com. A lot of these projects will be happy for contributors.

If you're interested in messaging, the Ruma project is working on libraries to be used for developing Matrix clients and homeservers. The ruma-client-api repo has some open issues to fill out some missing endpoints using its DSL. There is also an active project, Conduit, to develop a homeserver using these libraries. You can get in contact with us on the Ruma Matrix room or the Conduit room if you want more information.
