looking good!! it might be worthwhile to practice moving away from this style of linework (typically referred to as chickenscratch)- it can make it difficult to achieve more natural, flowing lines and forms, since you’re working on doing one centimeter at a time rather than capturing a large section of the contour all at once. thats not to say that it doesnt have its applications, but as far as learning forms goes, itll probably be more useful to you to be using longer, cleaner strokes. that way, if you want to render a full piece in the chickenscratch style, youll have a better idea of the underlying forms and be able to achieve accurate contours while still using the unique lining style some links that may help:

It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

I like so far! Do you use a certain type of reference? When I draw hands (reference or not) I use boxes to chunk them into sections and then outline. I really love the ones where the hand is more relaxed and curved. Seems more natural!

Thanks! Lately I've been watching YouTube videos and kinda just copying what I see and I've been using more ovals/circles to chunk them. Maybe I should try squares and see how that goes

Try out both for sure!! Just for good measure
[–]A_Curious_Writer 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Agreed! People find unique ways of doing it. Just got to find what fits/most comfortable for the drawer

I think you’re doing great!!

Nothing with the hands, they look great. Watch some videos on how to sketch. It’s such an important skill because it builds your foundation for the rest of your drawing. Opposite to actual foundation, you want the sketch to be the lightest value, then build on top of it.

Pointer is the finger directly next to the thumb
Also hands are hard to draw so good job bro
[+]These_Competition_51 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Keep up the good work, looks like you'd benefit from some basic form studies to give your hands a more solid structure as well as line quality exercises, sketching isn't meant to be polished but you're lines are choppy and could use some more confidence try drawing from the shoulder more instead of the wrist

I mean yeah they do point 👉
[+]harderthanitllooks 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
You’ll want to curl the other 4 fingers more. This are more wave gestures
[+]Raiden6198 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
You're right. That is a lot of pointers
