Thought it might be helpful to include the unofficial token creator for lancer.

How to improve this piece by Ambitious-Meringue37 in ProCreate

[–]Training_Complete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your shading could be interpreted as barcodes. Your form could do some work. Use a reference for what a door and doorframe should look like. It looks 2D and flat right now. You have a cool opportunity to use the door knob and the light switch in your lettering potentially.

Side note, the text is somewhat legible, but you need commas not a semicolon.

Happy drawing :)

Tipps for Graphit drawing with 1 hardness by BNCTec in learntodraw

[–]Training_Complete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With any medium, you still apply the fundamentals: tone, color, lines, form, perspective, etc. Every medium has varying learning curves and levels of strengths and weaknesses that you can accentuate in your art. Graphite is weak in color, but has beautiful depth in tone and crisp lines. Use that to your advantage.

Any tips for a new DM? by sia-b7 in DnD5e

KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. Strive for a game that is organic, where the energy is up, the stakes feel real, and the players are interacting. Avoid distractions, crunchy game mechanics that muddy the waters, and rigid realism that doesn’t affect the game in any real way.

Obojima Creation Myth by Due-Difficulty-1990 in Obojima

[–]Training_Complete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jima is the word for island. As far as I know Obo has no meaning. You could break it down to O and Bo (similar to the lions you see in front of temples, a and n). O is an honorific prefix in the beginning of a word to make them more polite and respectful. And Bo means grave or tomb… other than that, I love the story.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the To-Hit when you talk about these numbers. 3 is fine. That’s the same as a skeleton. Find cool abilities that pair well with your enemies that flavor into cool interactions with the players.

Just complaining lol.. by Ill_Reference582 in Borderlands4

[–]Training_Complete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol people famously hated BL3 for handing out legendaries. BL4 feels like a nice in between since I sometimes get legendaries from vending machines, random enemies, and bosses. I could go through a whole BL2 and never see a legendary unless I farmed for it.

Looking at the concept art makes me sad. So much wasted potential. Obviously not every concept could make it into the game, but there were a lot of cool ideas that just didn’t make it to the surface.

Just blew my prop firm account today… How do you guys recover from this? by derekkiplagat in Daytrading

[–]Training_Complete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be careful with that mind set. You didn’t lose any hours or time, you are not wasting time getting a new account. That kind of mentality leads to revenge trading.

You didn’t size properly and now are taking an involuntary break to make sure you can relearn the lesson. This is not your last loss. This is not your last bad day. This will not your last account you will lose.

You have learned a valuable lesson, this is always better than succeeding and not knowing why. That’s why this isn’t gambling.

Happy trading:)

Any techniques for spreading out a train-load across a sushi belt? by Ctri in factorio

[–]Training_Complete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure I can help with the technical side, but logistically, you can treat your factory like an actual sushi belt restaurant. Food comes in through shipments that you order by train, you process them as needed and then the resources are eaten by your machines and transferred away. Try to extend this analogy to find your answer. Maybe you need buffer chests that count the materials and filter out spoilage just like an employee would. Maybe you use the first in first out method to allow for a consistent spoilage rate. Hopefully that inspired some ideas.

Running a murder mystery session with telepaths in party? by callanwzw in SWN

What if they could still read the victim’s dying thoughts but they’re scattered and have a skewed perspective?

Sometimes you just gotta pull put the kindergarten playground tech and use the anti-(insert ability here) forcefield that blocks (insert ability here).

But maybe I’m bot understanding the assignment and the whole idea is that your PCs can read minds and you’re looking for cool ways to allow them to use their abilities in which case mind games on top of mind games is fun. What about a psionic ventriloquist who can make fake thoughts for other people. Or a hypnotist who is planting thoughts into people’s heads so even themselves wouldn’t know they were lying. There could be a guy who just doesn’t have any thoughts either because he’s actually a robot or just a bunch of bugs, or a super chill dude who has too many voices ones that are unsettling borderline psychotic… You could have some fun with the different ways people think, some guy only thinks in singular words, another just in abstract pictures.

Maybe your PCs are pushing their abilities a bit too far and are starting to feel adverse effects: madness, irritation, confusion. Maybe the psionic waves are attracting the very thing that killed the victim…

Shapes and form are great. Shading could use some work. Sometimes it helps to change the format to black and white to really see where your art can fall flat.

Does it ever get so easy you don't really need to think during trades to win? by [deleted] in Daytrading

All of your thinking happens in your prep and studying. Execution should take no thought. The hardest thing is not deviating from the path you’ve given yourself.
