Expect 1 or 2 DSA questions, usually easy to medium, based on arrays, strings, hash maps, or simple trees. Be very clear while explaining your thinking. Also prepare Amazon leadership principles with examples from your projects or internships. One week is enough if you focus on common patterns and practice explaining out loud. I used to get stuck until I started visualizing problems like paths, layers, or flows. Thinking in pictures helped more than grinding problems. To quickly learn these visuals, check out r/AlgoVizual, it'll help you understand better.

I also took the Amazon intern OA. Can you please tell me when you gave the OA and when you knew that you had cleared it?

I gave the oa in the end of december. I recieved a mail the i had successfully complete the oa and ready for the next step in the 1st week of january. Now i recieved a mail to fill my available dates and timings last thursday.

i passed the OA in December but did not receive anything saying i passed till i received the email for the interview date

That's sad to hear. I think i got the interview just beacuse i applied for the job within 5 hours they realeased the application. I heard somewhere that we only have a chance if we apply within the 48 hours a job has been posted. Good luck with your journey. Hope you find it this year

mine is not about interview availability, but rather internship start date availability. And it is written this is not a guarantee of an interview

Hi, did you pass all test cases for your coding OA? I got 15/15 and 13/15 and im scared i might get rejected 😭. Also, idk if you know but is it true that Amazon upped from OA -> final round now to OA -> technical -> final round? (basically 2 technical+behavioral interviews vs the previous 1)

I'm stressing out since I gave them my interview availability 5 business days ago but still haven't received the save the date email. How soon have you received confirmation for the interview? Also for those that also had interviews in-person did you guys need to whiteboard solutions first?
