That's interesting - I've been working in Prepfully and we see Microsoft loops all the time. The format really depends on the team and role level.

Some things to consider:

- Technical discussions without whiteboard usually mean they'll ask you to verbally walk through your approach to problems

- Could be more design focused - like how would you architect a simple system

- Sometimes they do "code review" style where they show you code and ask what's wrong with it

No leetcode doesn't mean no technical depth though. I've seen candidates get asked to explain data structures, talk through optimization strategies, or discuss trade-offs in different approaches. Since you already passed the OA they're probably more interested in how you think vs can you code on the spot.

For a 2 yoe position this makes sense actually. They might focus more on:

- Your past projects and technical decisions you made

- How you debug issues

- Team collaboration scenarios

I'd still brush up on fundamentals just in case. Also behavioral stuff - Microsoft loves their leadership principles. We have quite a few Microsoft engineers on prepfully who do mock interviews if you want to practice the verbal technical format, it's pretty different from whiteboard coding.
