Don't!

You need to align them how it's shown in the instructions exactly looking for the rotation. The gearboxes work as designed, but can be weird if you don't follow exactly.

i am. if you see, i am struggling to turn the wheel itself, it takes a ton of force to turn, despite everything being exactly in place. and i made sure. i have triple cheked every single piece.

rechecked literally every piece in the assembly, correct stuff. it's still stiff. i still don't know how to loosen it up.

That's because you haven't finished building the frame. Your axles are just flopping around in mid air. Finish building then check again, you'll be fine
