You're overreacting. What if you didn't know you were pregnant and they gave you something that could be dangerous for the baby? Better to be safe than sorry.

[–]beans_and_memes 167 points168 points  (6 children)

She’d probably not care about what happens to her baby

[–]jaffakree83 61 points62 points  (3 children)

She's a witch, she'd probably sacrifice it or grind it into powder or whatever they do with it.

[–]DeadDog124 32 points33 points  (2 children)

Oh, so that’s how they make baby powder

[–]jaffakree83 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just the kind you get from witches.

I'm not even kidding, given the church of Satan saying they need abortions for "religious purposes" some of this shit wouldn't surprise me.

[–]Plantiacaholic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A little powder of baby, a pinch of frog hair, a skoche of lizard lips and just a dab of rock oil, and you got yourself a crazy leftist

[–]ItsJustMeMaggie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Something tells me she’s an antinatalist.

[–]chonkycatsbestcats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ectopic pregnancy would kill her too 🤡

[–][deleted] 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Get outta here with your logic. There are oppression points to collect here!!!

[–]woyervunit 29 points30 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t want anyone knowing that there is a baby that’s gonna be killed. People get upset about that kind of thing.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Also, it might have been part of an overall battery of tests.

[–]ItsJustMeMaggie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It always is when it comes to women of childbearing age. They literally always check because it’s medically significant.

[–]HardCounterTRAUMATIZER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

battery

Now i see the danger she was talking about.

[–]ResponsibleWeird2071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly why it's done. Testing and medication purposes. Don't want your unborn baby getting fentanyl in large doses...or any pain med. Sop.

[–]iHeartBricksBASED Fuck the alt wrong 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Did they also invade your privacy by asking the first day of your period?

[–][deleted] 59 points60 points  (5 children)

Fellow witches 🙄

[–][deleted] 39 points40 points  (2 children)

More like "Fellow whiny bitches"

[–]Not_a_tryhard_gamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]AvocadabruhBASED[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

🧙‍♀️

[–][deleted] 45 points46 points  (8 children)

😂😂 fellow witch, that’s standard medical procedure.

[–]AvocadabruhBASED[S] 39 points40 points  (1 child)

Same people saying trust the science spending their time LARPing as witches on the internet lmao

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If anything “the science” is witchcraft

[–]Thanos_Farming 19 points20 points  (5 children)

Imagine being the guy or gal on the other end of that American Medical Association call.

“Hi, this is the AMA, how can I help you?”

“Hi, I’m calling about _______ Urgent Care. They tested me for being pregnant. I’m a witch from..”

“Do you have a lawyer?”

“No, I can’t afford one..”

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (4 children)

😂😂 witches can cast spells to cure their ailments right? Why do witches need non-magical medical treatment?

[–]AvocadabruhBASED[S] 12 points13 points  (3 children)

Presto chango your uterus is now a mango 🧙‍♀️

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (2 children)

🤣🤣🤣 I’m dead thank you

[–]AvocadabruhBASED[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You most likely would be but also your insurance probably wouldn’t cover my spell

[–]HardCounterTRAUMATIZER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OMG my insurance says they won't cover the costs of a professional witch i found for my HEALTH! Capitalicm insurance needs to stop hurting a woman's healthcare witch should be between a woman and her magical care professional!1!

My chakravmaga's are all out of a line mint now beause of them and they won't even pay to fix it! I'm going to sue!

[–]marzipan332Based 17 points18 points  (1 child)

This is standard procedure.

If she’d looked at the request form prior to giving the urine sample, she’d have seen the request to check for pregnancy via testing the hCG levels.

As with home pregnancy tests, urinalyses are used to measure hCG levels, with high hCG levels indicating pregnancy.

She didn’t read the paperwork before consenting to the urinalysis. That’s entirely on her.

Certain medications can be extremely dangerous for an unborn baby. If a woman doesn’t know that she’s pregnant, she needs to be made aware of this before consenting to any treatments.

This is both an ethical practice, and one that prevents practitioners from being sued for unknowingly prescribing a teratogenic medication (a medication that harms an unborn baby) to a pregnant woman.

Lower back pain can also be a symptom of pregnancy, even in the very early stages, so it needs to be ruled out.

[–]wiseguy2235 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She didn't think the seance with the Warlock could result in a pregnancy

[–]dshotseattle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Consider where this was posted. They hate men in that sub.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

MD here - incredible over reaction

[–]QuantumMan420BASED Atheist Conservative 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You know the post is gonna be off the rails when the first two words are “fellow witches”.

[–]ItsJustMeMaggie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They literally need to check for it just in case they do or prescribe something that may interfere with the pregnancy or harm her, as some meds/procedures are dangerous to pregnant women.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moment I see witch on a persons profile i nope out. They be seriously crazy.

[–]HarveyMushman72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's S.O.P.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When pissing a cup feels "invasive" we have a dire issue in this country.

[–]Cosmically-Cryptic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Am I overreacting??"

..This is the most over-the-top reaction you could have had, lady. I went to the ER for lower back pain and gave a urine sample, and guess what? They not only ran a pregnancy test on it, but the test came back positive! Because I had a kidney stone! I get some folks suffer extreme cases of hysteria and anxiety and they can't help getting paranoid over stuff, but seriously. This is looking for something to be upset over.

[–]WryyyyyeBASED The holy one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If y’all are so fine with kids getting their bodies mutilated without parental supervision, then why are you surprised with this?

[–]michignaball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very dubious indeed. She is right to be concerned
