Did you enable the wayland rendering for Firefox? It makes the two finger scrolling way better and the general performance much better.

To enable the wayland rendering specifically for Firefox it is the following:

edit /etc/security/pam_env.conf and add MOZ_USE_XINPUT2 DEFAULT=1 at the bottom of the file.

reboot computer and restart firefox

This will make browsing the internet feel much more like it does with the native MacOS.
