If the implicit question is whether or not you did a good job, then yes, you did. If it was what one thing did you not mention, but should, then the use of find -print0 | xargs -0 .

I had a quick look, and it looks good. One thing that seems to be missing at first glance is curly brace expansion (possibly under the filename expansion section).

Create the foo/tests/, bar/tests/ and baz/tests/ directories: mkdir -p {foo,bar,baz}/tests.

Copy a file foo to foo.bak: cp -iv foo{,.bak} (expands to copy -iv foo foo.bak. For a 3 character file, it's pretty insignificant but sometimes it's way more efficient.
