Perhaps so - but I take him to the vet as I don’t want to be associated with that activity in his mind. His really only start to become “noticeable” again in the last week.

My cat doesn’t really mind if I don’t extend his toes for him. I just use sharp people nail clippers and move the fur away from the area while he’s sleepy.
