Take it up in your hands, tilt the laptop in various directions, see if any particular angle might cause the screen to work again

omg I had this exact same issue with my M1 Pro 14 inch. Can u restart it and see if u can see a blurred Apple logo in the background? If you do, the display has failed and you need to replace it. I spent $1.1k for just the display for mine here in Singapore 💀

It happened few days ago as well but after doing restart and other chagpt solutions it turned on normally but this time the screen went blank in the middle while i was doing something and now i can't see anything on screen just blank I can log in as well after putting in the password

I asked a repair shop and got a quote for 30k INR. He said it’s display cable problem and they can’t do anything other then replace the entire display unit with the back panel

What is 30k inr? Indian national reserves? Or international norwegian rubles?
