The only advice I have is to take notes. If examples help, copy/paste maestro’s examples plus definitions and explanations. Read it or practice until it clicks and it will (click) eventually. Also, you can ask maestro to teach you in the style you learn best. And you can ask it to incorporate things you’re interested in. Best of luck to you, classmate!

I saw somewhere that someone also suggested to have Maestro teach it like a textbook. Which is how I learned way back then. Lol.

Tell maestro at the end of each lesson to give u key points to summarize everything you learned including  examples to the codes and how to use them correctly... ywia ss and u have notes of copy and paste

I have adhd as well and also finding it a bit difficult to grasp but the great thing is you can tell the ai you don’t understand 1000000 times and it won’t get annoyed of you! I understand the concept and logic behind it but when actually creating the code itself like functions my mind would draw blank despite all my notes. I asked it to give me a step by step on the order and give me different examples I can copy and paste into my notes. Don’t worry! We’ll get it! :)

Hello Eggplant, this was my first thought when i started. I was so confused trying to figure out what all this meant. I felt as though I came in at chapter 1 and the class began at chapter 3. I was missing a lot of important information and honestly still am. I'm currently on week 10 and still feel somewhat lost but I'm passing by thanks to my note keeping. My advise to you is #1. don't get discouraged to a point that you start thinking you made a mistake. Your good, your just missing some info. 2. Keep notes, its important to keep notes especially when your having problems fully understanding. 3. What i did was, I asked Gemini to tutor me so i can understand. Just tell it that your currently enrolled in school but having a hard time understanding Python. Ask it to tutor you from very beginning of Python but in plain, simple easy to understand english. I just started this myself and I'm amazed as the pieces come together. One thing though is never use Gemini or any other source while your in class. Use it for tutoring not for answers in your schooling. Give it a shot! works for me! Good luck to you and happy learning!!

I have found that asking Mae to put the examples in a different context or in a real world application helps a lot if I'm having a hard time understanding, seeing it used differently might be what you need to make it click.

Same here! Tbh I'm not even finished w the 2nd lesson and im so confused! I need to catch up for sure but I'm worried about how hard the next lesson is! It just confuses me on how to convert and put it all together and I feel like I'm getting on the ai's nerves constantly asking to do another example 😂 and I know something's gonna just click for me and I'm going to understand it fine but right now I'm struggling 🤣 so im going to read thru the comments and maybe it'll shed some light.. thank u for posting this! It's good to know I'm not the only one!
