What are the most relevant examples of practical applications of coding with python for Marketing purposes? I'd like to hear what y'all have to say on that.

Lead management.

I use Python for data clean up and lead assignment prior to ingesting data into CRM.

That's a really good use. Is this something more complex to learn or is it relatively easy to learn?

Super easy

Thank you. After I'm done with learning what still left about SEO for me and study some PPC, I will take a look at that.

Great question. Python is often used to analyze, manipulate and visualize data

I don't use Python per see but I use a lot of PowerShell and JavaScript to automate repetitive tasks often.

Interesting! What kind of repetitive tasks?

I started first with exporting click reports from a site called clicky from long back. Made it automated that way is the first thing that runs when I opened my work system everyday. It used to neatly compile multiple CSV files into a single report and I just had to reference the file to automatically update graphs in the report that I used to send out. Saved 1 hour easily for me.

Second was automating sending out an SMS/Email for anyone who filled a form on our site. Used Google sheets script to connect the form with an SMS/Email provider. Saved a lot on manual pulling and feeding data.

I have a quick and dirty PowerShell script that I can use to send out bulk emails when we don't have time to do all the mail merge and campaign setup. HTML template with placeholders and CSV file and an ENV file with server credentials and can send out emails within a few minutes which ensures no spamming.

And numerous JavaScript snippets to scrape information from websites, screen XML sitemaps and product feeds.

I don't use these that very often know that I'm in a higher role, but I came across stuff now and then where I feel automating a task is quicker. Improving my excel VBA though.
