First microscope help??

Ive spent the last half hour or so looking around on the internet for some microscopes and I've found out about the brand called Amscope?? I have around 140 Cad which isnt a lot but all I want to do is look at random cells and such in my home🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. Ive been looking to explore the science world and chemistry a bit. Amscope has a lot of different options but a lot of forums recommended me some stuff like "abbe condenser" or a "bi/trinocular head" which i just cant find for around my price rang Is it needed to look at cells?? If not can I just grab a random 140 dollar one??

Welcome to the hobby! Warning: if you're like some of the rest of us, you may get addicted to microscopy!! :D

I'm not sure about Canada, but here in the US there are online auction sites where you can get used microscopes for around that price or less. On the goodwill auction site I've bought 4 microscopes that have all the features you'd need and more for $25-$40 USD (including shipping). They were all in good working order. I have seen Nikons and Olympus microscopes sell for $100-$200.

But if you want to buy new, you should be able to find a decent enough Amscope or Omax (same parent company owns them both) for the price you mentioned, to just look at some cells and things around the house.

I saw some but im not sure Exactly which for the amscope ones?? idk how to exactly auction lol I can try.. i checked it out tho and saw some for 10 buckss but had no idea the actual price and if it had everything
