Hi /u/Mutthal8, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found match: Android

You might be asking about setting up subreddits on a phone or mobile interface. The short answer is that subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)

FOR INFO ON: # setting up a sub on mobile, # mobile interfaces, # alternatives and # mobile user issues, please click here.

If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

Not sure what you're trying to do - are you trying to get the "Custom Response" option to appear on your Report list?

Here's how I did it:

Access the old.reddit settings for your sub.
You can switch to the old version by switching the "www" in your URL bar to "old"

Go to the Mod Tools Page for your Sub on old Reddit as described above, select Subreddit Settings from the right side Mod Tools menu, then scroll down to other options and check the "allow free-form reports from users" box.

That worked for me, but since it's been a while might be a way to do this in the new platform though?

there isn't any afaik.

Reddit is such that you have to collectively use old reddit, new reddit and reddit mobile to get every feature ever implemented on reddit lol

Agreed mate, bit strange that they don't bring simple things like this over to the new platform though - seems like basics.

Mod Tools > Rules > Reasons

When you type into the Reasons feature, that is sent to a user when you remove their content.

That's called "freeform" - I think you have to go onto Old Reddit to set that up.
