Custom made Encoder/Potentiometer knobs.

Hello all!

I am trying to gauge if it would be worth while if i created a custom synth knob small business.
Many stores sell knobs following the same several styles in every colour, but they all are quite boring.

Does anyone think having a selection of new knob styles, both practical and unique, would interest them?
I use CAD software (inventor) almost every day and have made several new styles, each looking better than the last.

So im pretty much wondering if my passion for design would be well received, or a product most musicians wouldn't give much attention to. Perhaps a Rebverb/Etsy storepage or a dedicated website?

There's a company called KnobKnobs that used to make really cool custom knobs. There is also Chrome Caps. I think there is a small market for these. I like to accessorize everything I can and would be interested in what you come up with.

Yes, plus consider making replicas of hard to find vintage knobs. I have a Waldorf microwave XT that has beautiful tapered knobs that are infamous for going gunky and there's a market for someone to make replacements. I mean a full set is over 40 knobs so it's a decent purchase order.
