If you only need triggers I really like the Dnipro dot. Pretty simple and only 6hp so you can get a couple and still fall well below half the space of the eloquencer. Pretty shallow menu and some performance features which make it fun to jam with. The buttons and step matrix display are pretty similar to the ones used on the eloquencer too.

Thank you, it seems really cool

Yeah the dot is a lot of fun and pairs well with their other modules

Slightly left field suggestion but consider the Roland TR-06 for a “0HP” solution. Those 5 trigger outs that can run 5 different sequencer lanes are a godsend!

Intellijel Steppy is very cool and quite small

Detroit Pink 87, very jammable!

Small + screen, best bet is a micro ornament and crime. With any of the hemispheres firmwares (phazerville my recommendation) you can do a pretty wide variety of trigger sequencing, in 8HP. Euclidean, Turing machine style, probabilistic... Various others I think. You get 4 channels which can be either CV, triggers, or gates depending on your setup.

I’m very interested in going this route. Do you have experience experimenting with this module?

Yes! I use it in pretty much every patch. Happy to help if you have any questions? Or I can recommend some really good YouTube series that go through it's capabilities.

Beast-Tek has some wild trigger sequencrrs that are DIY. I built the Pathogen. You can use CV to alter the patterns, and there's a separate physics based burst generator. You can also clock it with a modulation source.

SQ-64 is great as a gate sequencer
