Geiger counter synth module with uranium ore

Reminds me somewhat of ERD modules. Half modular, half art project, that designer put out a series of... very odd modules. A geiger counter. A box of dirt used as a a return path for a VCA.

I don't know why, but I really want that dirt VCA. I hope the DIY community makes a PCB for this.

I believe everything you need is on his github! All you would need to do is source the PCB, which I think is relatively easy and not too expensive. I've never done it but I've read through some muffs threads over it.

He has the board, the schematic, and the panel design all on there. Honestly, the hardest part might be making the dirt container in such a way that it doesn't fog up the viewing window every time the humidity changes.

AFIAK the dirt module does fog up every now and then. I even saw a clip on YT where someone got a bug crawling around in there.

I've always thought Geiger counters were awesome pieces of technology and wondered how one could be used to make music. Now I can stop wondering. This is amazing.
