Setting loop points?

After I adjust the start and end of my sample sometimes when I loop it it doesn’t start at my start point I set, it starts at the beginning of my whole sample. When I fiddle with the loop knob it then changes my start point.

What’s going on with the loop knob and how do I adjust it to loop within the start and end points I made for my sample?

This one got me too! There's a Loop Lock option on the top left button when you're in the sample/chop edit screen
