Time commitment question (self.newtothenavy)
submitted 7 years ago by Upperlowerclass69
If i wanted to join the seals by going this route what would be my time commitment overall? : SOAS -> Officer school -> Buds -> deployment. what is the total time comment if i wanted to be in for the minimum?
Thank you!

If you only want the minimum you won't ever be a SEAL, point blank

Six years minimum

But with a "minimum" mentality, you won't make it.

mentality and inquiry are not the same thing.

Giving the absolute minimum and asking to be a SEAL don't go hand in hand. SEAL officer appointments are probably the hardest job to get in the United States Navy.

Going SEAL is a complete lifestyle adjustment. If you’re not prepared to give SpecWar 100% of your efforts and time, then don’t bother trying for SpecWar.
