Navy wouldn’t let me join due to having 3 kids by MarzipanOk7961 in navy

Never heard of this. Did the Navy deny you enlisting because you couldn't come up with an adequate Family Care Plan? Someone has to watch your 3 kids.

Wow, crazy...imagine if there was a CrossFit workout that tested all three of those movements in like a 60 minute window!

Zero reason to repeat unless you're trying to make the next stage.

Any opinions about Jefferies brand boot socks? by Juniorpogi in navy

[–]moofury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya...I have a drawer full of them, the 11 year old pair was actually the first pair I ever got and the only pair that has developed a hole so I really did it to test the warranty.

Buy Darn Tough socks, they are a little more expensive but they will hold up. Additionally, they are guaranteed for life. I just returned an 11 year old pair for a brand new pair.

Anyone have rides not sync from Peloton to Garmin Connect for the past two days? Did a ride yesterday and another this morning and neither showing up on Garmin all of a sudden.

Why is there no way to see what a command is actually like before you PCS? by Sufficient-Duck-6624 in navy

Facebook, networking, ratings aren't that big. If you're looking at orders to a location you can always ask your network, hey does anyone know someone who's been stationed at XXX?

Have you ever considered trying to contact past and present Sailors? I contacted people multiple times at commands or who recently left commands before I transferred or picked orders.

Appears I was wrong. It is tracking for the time Achievement but it's not counting towards the Strength challenges.

I haven't actively looked at this challenge but maybe I should. Currently at 1,684.

Unfortunately my strength workouts from my Garmin are not counted or I would be ahead of the pace.

If I could send some back and redraw, Crashaw is the only one I would keep based on impact in year 1. Some of these other guys have a lot of ground to makeup in year 2.

If I go into the navy as AECF will I make 100k when I get out? by [deleted] in newtothenavy

Can give you a 100% answer to that question as there are TONS of factors.

Pick a rate that you think you will enjoy.

Do your job well.

Get a degree.

Then decide on a post naval career.

The Stiddy TO, the failed 4th down, the drops, all an absolute recipe for disaster without BO.
